UPPCB Recruitment 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) has released an official notification on 27 February 2026 for the recruitment of 40 posts including Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE) and Assistant Scientific Officer (ASO).
Eligible candidates can apply online from 28 February 2026 (11:00 AM) to 28 March 2026 (06:00 PM) at uppcb.up.gov.in (uppcb.up.gov.in. The selection will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview.

Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE)
- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Civil / Environmental Engineering OR AMIE in relevant branch.
- Assistant Scientific Officer (ASO)
- Option 1: Ph.D. in Chemistry / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry + 3 years experience in Environment/Pollution Control.
- Option 2: Master’s Degree in relevant subject + 5 years experience in Environment/Pollution Control.
- Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
- Minimum: 21 Years
- Maximum: 40 Years
- Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC (UP) → 5 Years, Ex‑Servicemen → Service period + 3 Years (max 15 Years), PwD → 15 Years, UP Govt Employees → As per rules.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive salary under Level‑10 Pay Matrix as per UP Government norms along with admissible allowances.

Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in two stages (Total 470 Marks):
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – 400 Marks
- Objective Type Questions
- 4 Marks for each correct answer
- 1 Mark negative marking
- Interview – 70 Marks
👉 Final selection will be based on combined CBT + Interview marks.
