Exam Pattern & Selection Process
Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination
- Two Papers (GS‑I & GS‑II).
- 200 Marks each | 2 Hours each.
- Negative Marking: 0.33.
- Qualifying in nature.
Stage 2 – Main Examination
- 9 Papers (2 Qualifying + 7 Merit).
- Total Marks: 1750.
- Minimum 25% required in language papers.
Stage 3 – Interview
- Marks: 250.
- Final Merit = Mains + Interview.
